 I first became enamored with Rosemary as I was learning about it's many healing properties when my Grandmother had become ill. I was profoundly impacted by everything I was learning while my Grandmother had begun to wonder why I was arriving with a different Rosemary plant or product each week. But so many other attributes of this beautiful plant had enthralled me as well.  Rosemary is a symbol of love, faith and remembrance above all else, which I adored. Rosemary is also a strong symbol of love, especially fertility and fidelity. With regards to romantic love and relationships, Rosemary is a symbol of longevity. It is a positive and joyful plant that brings peace and is known to encourage joy. It is said to help you find your faith, which I thought was so beautiful as well. Legend has it that hanging Rosemary around your bed or in sachets within your pillowcase with help with falling asleep, but also with improving fertility. Among health benefits, Rosemary is said to assist with nervous system disorders, with slowing and stopping tumor growth, with treating redness, acne and skin inflammation, with protecting your liver, and preventing hair loss. Further, it is believed to be a powerful anti-inflammatory as well as having the power to heal memory loss. It also is known for boosting concentration and increasing blood flow. Ancient Greeks would place Rosemary sprigs on their heads while studying and many Greek Scholars wore Rosemary garlands around their heads during exams. They believed it sharpened their memory and that as it increases the blood flow towards the brain, it in turn increases concentration. It is said to clear your mind and to help you see the true path in front of you.
